Lloyd Avery II was an American actor. He was primarily known for his role as a gang member in the film Boyz n the Hood. He also had smaller roles in other films and television shows.
Avery's life took a tragic turn when he was convicted of double manslaughter for the deaths of two women in 2000. He was sentenced to life in prison.
While incarcerated, Avery became a suspect in the murder of his cellmate in 2005. He was subsequently beaten to death by other inmates shortly after being identified as a suspect.
